Commissioners from the Northern Senatorial District of Cross River State on Friday paid a courtesy visit to the Senator representing the district, Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, at his Abuja residence.
During the visit, the commissioners expressed their commitment to working collaboratively with the Senator to advance development in Cross River North and promote a stronger, more united All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State.
Speaking during the meeting, Senator Jarigbe commended the Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency Prince Bassey Edet Otu, for ongoing infrastructural development in the northern part of the state. He also appreciated the peace and stability currently enjoyed across the state under the present administration.
The lawmaker urged the commissioners to remain dedicated and steadfast in their duties, emphasizing the importance of collective effort in driving sustainable development and growth across the state.
In their remarks, the commissioners thanked Senator Jarigbe for the warm reception and reaffirmed their resolve to work closely with him in fostering development in the senatorial district and strengthening the APC across Cross River State.
The commissioners present included the Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Hon. Patrick Egbede; Commissioner for Sports, Hon. Agnes Atsu; Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Dr. Beatrice Igwe; and Commissioner for International Donor Coordination, Hon. Dr. Hippolatus Lukpata.
